The Country Girls! 1927-1935

Origin Jazz Library OJL-6, published 1964. Origin Jazz Library, under new ownership, is still going strong, but unfortunately hasn’t continued to publish their legendary original catalog. I may put a few more of these up if there’s interest. I have access to a few of them, but I’m really looking for a copy of their second release, “Really! The Country Blues”. If any of you dear readers have a copy that you’d be willing to sell or lend, please contact me.

I unfortunately don’t have the booklet that was originally packaged with this LP, but I’ve taken down the recording dates and locations from Dixon and Godrich. I wonder why they called it ‘27-‘35 when the latest recording was in 1934.
